I once had a hot ott that would throw many tantrums! I now have a horse that is NOT heavy,
running through the bit or protesting through transitionsand to top it off his movement is BACK! .

Sometimes you get a pony / Horse and despite your best efforts you have to resort to using harsher bits or nose bands to get results you desire. Cookie came as a 14 yo with a very bad habit of getting his tongue over the bit - (dangerously) tried every bit .. port mouth, tongue layer and had to resort to a tight Hanoverian - which caused him to cross his jaw - he was tense and not a happy pony.

He worked in a nice frame but I wanted him to be a happy pony. I was willing to try anything.
Enter Anthea’s comfort snaffles - I can’t believe the difference - suddenly he’s soft, more forward and a very happy pony.
No noseband and a very simple barrel snaffle. I can highly recommend them. As a driving bit - I just have learn to drive them a little differently ....

These are not known as a driving bit ... I tried 3 ponies in them and EVERY pony relaxed - stretched into the bit and had improvement on drive one, it can only get better.. cookie drive 1 ... Just lov this pony

So last week I had 3 comfort bits arrived. And I love them.
All 3 horses respond so much better on them. They are soft and relaxed and definitely seemed to be more comfortable in them!

I have an off the track Thoroughbred who raced for nearly 8 years with a tongue tie, lugging bit/tongue control bit.
I commenced his retraining to a hack about 12 months with what I thought was a very soft bit(3 piece training snaffle)
allowing relief and no nut cracker action however I still had resistance, mouth open and head tossing.
I had being toying with the idea of changing his bit for a little while and had been “following” the COMFORT BITS on Facebook.
I finally bit the bullet last week as we had “hit a wall” in our training and purchased an eggbutt comfort snaffle.
It arrived yesterday afternoon and I couldn’t wait to test it out so I saddled up and went for a quick ride.
WOW !! what a difference I noticed in just the ten minutes I had to ride. No mouth open, no head tossing and very little resistance!!!!! Thank you Anthea Moran for a happier horse already.
